Biography

Elisabeth Arkhipoff is born in Ivory Coast in 1973 in a bicultural family (russian father and Armenian mother).
Gratuated in contemporary litterature and philosophy, Elisabeth Arkhipoff starts an artistic carreer since 2000 (exhibitions in Paris Museum of Modern Art, Rooseum-Center of contemporary art of Malmö/Sweden, Contemporary Art Center of Vilnius/Lituania), and her artworks had been reproduced in several catalogues and magazines (Frieze, Süddeutsche Zeitung, IDEA, ZOO, Dazed & Confused, Studio Voice, Victionary).
She lives and works in Paris.

"1978, 1983?": Arkhipoff will present collages and drawings based on the idea of "custom," mixing objects that document significance within personal life, with external additives.
