Bank of Ireland Arts Centre, Foster Place, Dublin 2

"Art Superstar" (Hot Press), and former Father Ted 'priest' Kevin Sharkey begins 2003, as he left 2002, in a frenzy of energy and colour!

'You Have Exceeded Your Limitl' is an exhibition of new paintings showing at The Bank Of Ireland Arts Centre - opening on the 26th of February 2003 and running during St. Patrick's weekend. It will be Sharkey's last exhibition in Ireland before he heads off for a joint exhibition with Louie Le Brocquy, and the work of the late Tony O'Malley in New York at the prestigious Private Collector Gallery in March.

Taking the art world by storm, Sharkey, who returned last year to Ireland after sixteen years abroad, has continued his ground-breaking success by notching up three major sellout shows in 2002. 'FISH' at thatgallery, Donegal in June: 'Shadows' in October and rounding off the year with a stunning show in Dublin titled 'CANCEL EVERYTHING!' at The Ireland Institue- Pearse House.

In the last year alone, Sharkey has been hailed as one of the most important and exciting painters to emerge from Ireland in years.

What they're saying:

"Incredible work... rush out and buy it now before the prices go through the roof." Open House - RTE - Dec 2002
