This exhibition is to document that apart from automobiles, spiritual laziness, and the lack to comprehend, there are still things of intrinsic value and meaning in our society which we are apt to forget because of the daily busyness of life.
I should not like to speak out about these sculptures, for they in their stillness can speak for themselves. These works will evoke to us mean-ing proportionally to the extent of our endeavours to understand them. They impart the past and the present trends, and foreshadow the future. They are strong and many-sided, and continually change in accordance to how we perceive them. One has here the possibility of comparing them in regard to their relative positions.
The drawings catch the impulses of a moment; however, at the same time they are preparations and memories.

Cette exposition démontre qu' à part les voitures automobiles, la paresse intellectuelle et l'incompréhension, il existe dans notre époque certaine chose dont la valeur intrinsèque, à l'instar de certaine activité perde quelque peu d'importance. Je n'ai aucunement l'intention de troubler le silence de ces sculptures ici présentes, par de vaines explications, celles-ci parlant d'elles-mêmes, nous donnant ce que nous leurs apportons. Se mouvant, s'affrontant, s'opposant, devenant présent et passé, dissimulant le futur. Les dessins retiennent l'impuls du moment et sont préparations et souvenances simultanées.

Diese Ausstellung ist Beweis dafür, daß es außer Autos, der geistigen Trägheit und des Unverständnisses noch etwas anderes in unserer Zeit gibt, dessen Wert und Sinn wir bei unserer anscheinenden Betriebsamkeit allzu leichtfertig vergessen. Darum möchte ich nicht durch laute Worte die hier gezeigten Skulpturen und Plastiken in ihrem Schweigen stören. Die Werke werden uns das geben, was wir ihnen entgegenbringen. Stark und vielseitig, sich verändernd durch unsere Bewegung — vergleichend und gegenüberstellend — vermitteln sie Vergangenheit und Gegenwart und lassen das Zukünftige ahnen.
Den Zeichnungen haftet der Impuls des Augenblicks an. Doch sind sie Vorbereitung und Erinnerung zugleich.
